Refugee & IDPs

Due to internal conflict and climatic shocks Ethiopia face multiface dispacement and migration. In 2022 Ethiopia has faced multiple overlapping humanitarian crises, putting at risk the lives and livelihoods of millions of people and driving continued high and urgent needs for humanitarian support. Ethiopia is suffering from its worst drought in 50 years, affecting more than 10 million people, which contributes to the rise of internal and external refugees. Ethiopia hosts 800,000 refugees and millions of IDPs due to internal conflict, one of the largest refugee populations in the world.
